BRANN FOWLER

Attorney at Law

Brann is a veteran trial attorney who brings years of experience to help secure the best possible outcomes for his clients. Brann has tried cases ranging in severity from simple possession of marijuana to murder.

Brann began his legal career clerking for the Honorable R. Lawton McIntosh in Anderson, S.C. There, he gained a wealth of knowledge around both civil and criminal cases. After clerking, Brann worked in a general practice firm in Greenville handling civil litigation, including serious personal injury cases arising from automobile accidents and nursing home neglect.

In September of 2016, Brann joined the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Greenville, S.C. While working as a prosecutor, Brann managed a docket that regularly contained hundreds of offenders and cases in both magistrate and general sessions court. Brann resolved thousands of warrants and tried numerous cases in his time at the Solicitor’s Office. Accordingly, he has an intimate understanding of what it takes to successfully prosecute—and defend—criminal cases in South Carolina. Brann understands that while the best resolutions for his clients often do not include trials, the ability to successfully represent his client’s interests in front of judges and juries in South Carolina is essential to obtaining the best possible result. As such, Brann was named a Top 40 under 40 Criminal Defense Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers in his first year of private practice.

Brann serves as an Infantry Officer in the South Carolina National Guard with whom he has served overseas in Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt, and Europe. Brann is a graduate of Furman University and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Brann, his wife, Becca, and their son, Henry, are active members of Christ Church Episcopal as well as supporters and members of various charitable and civic organizations throughout Greenville, including Project Host, Jasmine Road, and the North Main Community Association.
